At the last two events, we hosted two competitions.
The 2019 competition focused on the digital divide by analysing students’ usage and learning patterns for an open-source learning platform called Kolibri. Kolibri is an open-source educational platform and toolkit designed for low-resource communities.
The 2021 competition centered around financial inclusion. This competition was hosted on the zindi.africa platform. The poster of the competition is shown below.
This year we will also host a competition on a dataset and problem that is relevant to Malawi. We are currently working on a spatial data set.
